Custom Charters
Kona Sail Charters and Honu Sports have joined forces to allow you to customize your ocean adventures. Our customized hourly charters allow you to go sailing on the Honu or snorkeling on the Honu Adventurer. For groups larger then 6 guest you can charter both boats and create a unique ocean experience. Capt. Mike and Capt. Lisa have a combined 50 years of experience running charters on the Kona coast.
Sailing Charters on Honu
Private Sailing and snorkeling charters on the Honu are available any time of day. Guests are welcome to sit back and relax during the sail or participate in sailing the Honu. Guests may bring their own food and refreshments. We provide coolers, ice and drinking water. The cost is $250 per hour with a 2 hour minimum for up to 6 guests.
Snorkel tour on Honu Adventurer
Come join us for a wonderful private tour along the Kona coast. See whales, dolphins, turtles and tropical reef fish. Six person maximum means you will have a comfortable space to relax. Just let us know what time you prefer to start your tour, but keep in mind morning is the best time to snorkel. We provide a snorkel guide and snorkel gear. Guests are welcome to bring their own food and refreshments. Charters are $250 an hour with a 2 hour minimum for up to 6 guests.
Sunset Sail
Enjoy the beautiful Kona sunset aboard the Honu on the water. Sunset charter departs 2 hours before sunset. The 2 hour charter is $500 for up to 6 guests and includes captain and crew. Guests are welcome to bring their own food and refreshments. We provide a cooler to keep your food and refreshments cold. Seeing a Kona sunset from the Honu at sea is a memorable experience.
